Covered Stent Implantation for the Treatment of Direct Carotid-Cavernous Fistula and Its Mid-Term Follow-up.

摘要: Carotid-cavernous fistulas are abnormal arteriovenous communications either directly between the internal carotid artery and cavernous sinus or dural branches of external arteries. These predominantly present with ocular manifestations they treated mainly by endovascular techniques in most cases. A detailed review literature allowed us to make a complete analysis information available on topic. We describe case direct carotid-cavernous fistula occluded implantation covered stent, showing persistence results after three years.
