摘要: The purpose of the present study was to determine experimental conditions stimulate secretion thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) with thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) injections in suckling piglets during first weeks postnatal life. Three consecutive experiments were conducted. Four 10–20 d old i.m. injected 0, 20, 100, 500 μg (experiment 1) or 4, 100 TRH/kg BW 2) according a 4 × latin square design involving different litters each experiment. Blood samples taken −15, −1, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 180 300 min after TRH injection experiment 1, −.25, −.08, .25, .5, 2, 6, 8, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 72 hr 2. T3 T4 levels significantly (P<.01) increased as soon 30 45 injection, respectively. Maximal obtained 2 TRH. returned basal within 6 8 post Plasma pGH (P<.001) 15 μg. In 3, either daily every other day from .0 23 days age. Results showed that response did not decrease repeated injections. These results indicate can be used increase for at least 13 young piglet.
