摘要: The corrosion inhibition properties of isoniazid derivatives, namely N-(morpholino methyl) isatin-3-isonicotinoyl hydrazone (MIIH), N-(piperazino (PIIH), N-(2-Thio benzimidazolyl (TBIH), N-(piperadino (PIIIH) for mild steel in 1 M HCl medium were analysed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), potentiodynamic polarization and weight loss techniques. Electrochemical data demonstrated that the addition derivatives corrosive solution decreased charge capacitance simultaneously increased function charge/discharge interface, facilitating formation an adsorbed layer over surface. Adsorption these inhibitors on surface obeyed Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Potentiodynamic studies showed all tested affected both anodic cathodic process, thus they can be classified as mixed type inhibitor. effect chemical structure four was discussed. It found efficiency order followed molecules TBIH > PIIH MIIH PIIIH. Thus turned out to best This fact strongly suggests that, efficient inhibitor molecule should large one, planar, having unoccupied d-orbital also containing extensive number π-electrons.
