摘要: Abstract Pressure drop and liquid holdup for two-phase concurrent downward flow in packed beds were correlated various types of packings by taking into account two hydrodynamic regimes: a poor high gas-liquid interaction regime. Foaming non-foaming systems have been considered. In the regime, pressure was calculated as due to gas flowing bed restricted presence liquid. A correlation valid free trickling, modified order take effect drop, is proposed used correlate flow. empirical correlations both foaming systems. All employed fit experimental results from several authors better than those literature.
