摘要: Rats were fed up to 9 months diets supplemented with vitamin A in an amount that, by itself, had no apparent adverse effect on the liver. When associated chronic ethanol administration, supplementation strikingly exacerbated ethanol-induced abnormalities: fat accumulation was increased and numerous giant mitochondria observed. Furthermore, lesions appeared which alone does not produce rats, namely necrosis, inflammation, fibrosis. Vitamin number of storing cells (lipocytes) positively correlated However, when combined levels liver decreased myofibroblasts association abundant collagen fibers. There also hepatic inflammation accompanied a rise serum glutamate dehydrogenase, SGOT, SGPT decrease retinol binding protein A. We conclude that amounts A, themselves appear harmless, may severe consumption.
