摘要: In order to qualify as a case of atopic dermatitis, we propose that an individual must have itchy skin condition plus three or more the following: history flexural involvement, asthma/hay fever, generalized dry skin, onset rash under age 2 years, visible dermatitis. When tested in independent sample 200 consecutive dermatology outpatients all ages, this arrangement diagnostic criteria achieved 69% sensitivity and 96% specificity when validated against physician's diagnosis. Based on findings first exercise, minor modifications wording were undertaken, these 114 children attending out-patient paediatric clinics. Overall discrimination improved, with 85% 96%. The simplified are easy use, take min per patient ascertain, do not require subjects undress. These two validation studies suggest newly proposed for dermatitis perform reasonably well hospital patients. Further community settings developing countries is needed.
