Piezo-phototronics effect on nano/microwire solar cells

摘要: Wurtzite structures, such as ZnO, GaN, InN and CdS, are piezoelectric semiconductor materials. A piezopotential is formed in the crystal by charges created applying a stress. The inner-crystal can effectively tune/control carrier separations transport processes at vicinity of p–n junction or metal–semiconductor contact, which called piezo-phototronic effect. presence interface/junction significantly affect performances photovoltaic devices, especially flexible printed organic/inorganic solar cells fabricated using nano/microwires. In this paper, current–voltage characteristics cell have been studied theoretically experimentally analytical results obtained for ZnO under simplified conditions, provide basic physical picture understanding mechanism cell. Furthermore, maximum output has calculated numerically. Finally, experimental organic support our theoretical model. Using effect external stress, study not only provides first about on but also assists design higher performance cells.
