摘要: Abstract The age and composition of the 14 × 10 6  km 2 Antarctica's surface obscured by ice is unknown except for some dated detrital minerals erratics. In remedy, we present four new analyses (U–Pb age, T DM C , eHf, rock type) zircons from Neogene turbidites as proxies Antarctic bedrock, review published proxies: hornblendes analysed Ar–Ar bulk Sm–Nd isotopes; Pb isotope compositions K-feldspars; erratics dropstones that reflect composition; recycled microfossils facies. This work deals with 240°E–0°–015°E sector, complements Veevers Saeed's (2011) analysis 70°E–240°E sector. Each sample located in its ice-drainage basin backtracking to potential provenance. Gaps between upslope exposure are specifically attributable major provenance detritus west Peninsula (AP) West Antarctica, east AP East Antarctica. We confirm Central about a core Gamburtsev Subglacial Mountains (GSM) Vostok Highlands (VSH) contains basement includes igneous (mafic granitoids) metamorphic rocks peak U–Pb ages 0.65–0.50, 1.20–0.9, 2.1–1.9, 2.8–2.6, 3.35–3.30 Ga, 3.6–1.3 Ga, mainly negative eHf. 650–500 Ma 1.55 Ga, 1200–900 Ma positive eHf lies beneath Antarctica south southeast Dronning Maud Land within part African–Antarctic Orogen. Zircons additional 1.7–1.4 Ga, 2.1–1.9 Ga, 3.35–3.00 Ga have GSM.
