Systematic review of services providing information and/or advice to people with dementia and/or their caregivers

摘要: Background Information is a key part of service provision to people with dementia and their carers, but there no systematic review the evidence. This study aimed determine whether information services confer significant benefit for quality life, neuropsychiatric symptoms carer burden. Method A intervention studies in was carried out, focussing predominantly on and/or advice. Results Thirteen randomised controlled trials were identified. Two three measuring life indicated benefit. Significant benefits also evident (points difference, −1.48; confidence interval, −2.11 0.86), not burden. Most interventions included other elements such as skills training, telephone support direct help navigate medical care system. Conclusion There some value services, are needed specific that effective.
