摘要: Microstructural evolution and solidification cracking susceptibility of dissimilar metal welds between Type 310 austenitic stainless steel Inconel 657, a nickel-based alloy, were studied using combination electron microscopy analysis Varestraint testing techniques. In addition, the effect filler chemistry on fusion zone composition, microstructure, resultant weldability was investigated. The good resistance prepared with A due to small amount secondary phase (NbC) narrow temperature range. relatively poor 82 (310 SS) result wide range an increase in phases. Consequently, it is concluded that for joint 657 SS, material offers best weldability.
