摘要: Abstract Magnetic properties have been measured for acicular maghemite crystals of single-domain (SD) size between room temperature and the Curie T C 645°C. The transformation to hematite takes place at 752°C, far above present γ-Fe 2 O 3 . observed high-temperature stability this material made it possible study thermoremanent magnetization (TRM) hysteresis dependence coercive force shows that main contribution coercivity is from shape anisotropy. Magnetization reversal dominated by incoherent rotation. experimental results are consistent with fanning mode in a chain spheres. weak-field TRM was linear applied field, as predicted Neel SD theory.
