摘要: Isozymes of lactate dehydrogenase from heart and muscle Atlantic hagfish show less functional divergence than those other fishes higher vertebrates. The enzyme (B4) displays a Michaelis constant for pyruvate lower substrate inhibition at moderate concentrations isozymes species. These properties support the hypothesis that ancestral vertebrate was (A4)-type also suggest role B4 in unusual physiology cardiac tissue which functions under sustained hypoxic conditions.
