摘要: In the past, mechanics of repeated rolling and sliding contact could only be treated for idealized, elastic-perfectly-plastic (and isotropic) cyclic materials behavior, albeit approximately. They have not proven useful because real plastic behavior contacting is anything but perfectly or isotropic. Using finite element methods, authors developed techniques treating elastic-linear-kinematic hardening-plastic (ELKP) an idealization that comes much closer to low, medium, high hardness steels. earlier paper, examined on rail steel, which softer than hardened bearing steel displays quite different ELKP properties. The present paper offers first results strength material
