摘要: microRNAs regulate diverse biological processes such as development and aging by promoting degradation or inhibiting translation of their target mRNAs. In this study, we have found that the miR-58 family lifespan in C. elegans. Intriguingly, members affect differently, sometimes opposite directions, complex genetic interactions. The abundances miRNAs are up-regulated long-lived daf-2 mutant a daf-16-dependent manner, indicating these effectors insulin signaling We also is regulated partially required for extension mediated reduced signaling, germline ablation, dietary restriction, mild mitochondrial dysfunction. further identified daf-21, ins-1, isw-1 mRNAs endogenous targets miR-58. Our study shows function multiple mechanisms, seed sequence not dominant factor defining role miRNA regulation.
