摘要: This chapter provides a high-level review of the literature on global production networks and suggests that this area offers fertile ground for future research. An important issue deserving attention is relationship between firm’s strategy (particularly its manufacturing strategy) structure network. The model analysis. allows delayering network into clusters plants based characteristics products they produce processes use to them, gauges whether each cluster has appropriate level resources carry out strategic mission. also reviews transfer know-how in networks. another deserves attention, particularly choice mechanism under different conditions.
