摘要: The Ah locus was first described as a difference among inbred strains of mice when challenged with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Schmid et al (1) noted that 7,12-dimethylbenzanthracene applied to the skin C57BL/6J they developed ulceration, while AKR/J did not. Nebert (2) intraperitoneal administration 3-methylcholanthrene (3-MC) induced hepatic cytochrome P-450IA1 and associated monooxygenase activity—aryl hydrocarbon hydroxylase (AHH) in C57BL/6 but not DBA/2 mice. In crosses backcrosses between these strains, trait responsiveness (hence locus) is inherited simple autosomal dominant mode.
