摘要: Chinese ginseng (Panax ginseng) is a medically important herb within Panax and has crucial cultural values in East Asia. As the symbol of traditional medicine, been used as herbal remedy to restore stamina capacity Asia for thousands years. To address evolutionary origin domestication history cultivated ginseng, we employed multiple molecular approaches investigate genetic structures wild across their distribution ranges northeastern Phylogenetic population analyses revealed that four landraces, COMMON, BIANTIAO, SHIZHU, GAOLI (also known Korean ginseng), were not domesticated independently Fusong Town likely one primary centers. In addition, our results from epigenetic demonstrated maintained high levels diversity, but showed distinct cytosine methylation patterns compared with ginseng. The variation by this study have shed light on which may serve framework future improvements.
