摘要: AIM: The long-term effects of reconstructions the gastrointestinal tract after gastrectomy on plasma levels hormones that contribute to food intake controls were evaluated. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Domestic pigs randomly assigned sham-surgery or total followed by reconstruction with oesophagojejunostomy a Roux-en-Y loop (OJRY), jejunal interposition between oesophagus and duodenum (OJD), an pouch reservoir (J-pouch) loop. Plasma peptides analysed radioimmunoassay (RIA). RESULTS: Ten weeks surgery, cholecystokinin (CCK) pancreatic polypeptide (PP) significantly lowered (79.6% 67.0%, respectively) in animals J-pouch, but not sham-operated OJRY OJD, as compared preoperative levels. neuropeptide Y (NPY) peptide YY (PYY) remained unchanged, irrespective mode reconstruction. CONCLUSION: preservation duodenal passage gastrectomy, lowers CCK PP, reduce intake.
