摘要: Big data has been an enabler for innovation, reconstruction, and advancement of most sectors our society, it's receiving continuous growing attention from researchers practitioners in academia, industry, government. There are, however, still lots challenges spanning theoretical foundations, systems, technology to policy standards. This special issue focuses on how big cuts across systems applications arenas, the guest editors' introduction describes five articles they selected out 30 submitted cover a wide spectrum interesting topics, including feature selection analytics, astronomical image analysis, large-scale network prediction, online URL filtering, massive transaction clustering.
