摘要: Relaxation times for seventeen gases have been measured using a steady flow method, the velocity field being found numerically by Southwell's Method. Where comparison is possible results are to be in good agreement with sound dispersion data. The present state of knowledge about relaxation effects discussed and few instances their appearance cited.
