摘要: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a major orthopaedic surgery intervention, indicated for severe haemophilic arthropathy. The aim of our study was to analyse rehabilitation outcome in patients after TKA. A consecutive series 21 (23 knees) retrospectively evaluated. mean age 37 ± 8 years (range 22-55). Physiotherapy treatment performed twice day 5 days week⁻¹, 3 h day⁻¹. Assessment included range motion (ROM), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) pain evaluation, Western Ontario and McMaster University (WOMAC) Score functional outcome, Medical Research Council (MRC) quadriceps muscle strength incidence adverse events self-reported questionnaire. patients'data were recorded before (t0), at Rehabilitation Unit admission (t1), discharge (t2) follow-up (t3), 11-48 months rehabilitation.
