摘要: User-transparent live migration is one of the most interesting features Virtual Machine (VM) environments. Current live-migration technologies require that VM retains its IP network address; therefore, are typically restricted to movement within an subnet. The growing number portable computing devices has led development mobility solutions enable uninterrupted connectivity while moving between different subnets. In this paper we study application current approaches cross-subnet live-migration. We show although core problems similar, there significant differences these domains, in terms both assumptions and requirements. present a specific solution for across subnets, introduce new framework synchronizing configuration, which allows better optimization scenarios migration.
