摘要: The vast diversity of plant natural products is a powerful indication the biosynthetic capacity metabolism. Synthetic biology seeks to capitalize on this ability by understanding and reconfiguring pathways that generate produce novel with improved efficiency. Here we review algorithms databases presently support design manipulation metabolic in plants, starting from models native pathways, progressing combinations known reactions, finally proposing new reactions may be carried out existing enzymes. We show how these tools are useful for as well identifying side affect engineering goals.
