摘要: Diffuse panbronchiolitis (DPB) is a disease entity first proposed by Yamanaka et al. [1] and Honma [2]. Chronic inflammation of the respiratory bronchioles major lesion associated with this [1–3]. The peculiar to Japanese, involvement genetic or constitutional factors in its onset has been suggested [4]. DPB shows diverse pathophysiological features, such as exertional dyspnea stridor, repeated infection lower airways, marked obstructive disturbances ventilation. A differential diagnosis essential because symptoms features largely overlap those bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary emphysema.
