摘要: The spatial distribution of diatom assemblages was investigated in surface sediments from the Laptev Sea shelf. Diatoms are an abundant and diverse microfossil component these sediment samples. A total 345 taxa 56 genera could be identified with freshwater diatoms contributing up to 62% number. However, dominated by a few planktic species. factor analysis 21 species groups 75 samples carried out. Four factors (= assemblages) extracted. They ice algae assemblage, Chaetoceros Thalassiosira nordenskioeldii assemblage. pattern shelf shows distinct relationship oceanography. Parameters mainly affecting composition on sea-ice conditions, influx Siberian rivers, and, controlled river water influx, salinity waters.
