摘要: Nitric oxide (NO) is an important inorganic molecule of the biological system owing to diverse physiological implications. NO synthesised from a semi-essential amino acid l-arginine. biosynthesis catalysed by family enzymes referred as nitric synthases (NOSs). accused in many acute and chronic illnesses, which include central nervous disorders, inflammatory diseases, reproductive impairments, cancer cardiovascular anomalies. Owing very unstable nature, gets converted into nitrite, peroxynitrite other reactive nitrogen species that could lead nitrosative stress nigrostriatal system. Nitrosative widely implicated Parkinson's disease (PD), its beneficial harmful effects are demonstrated vitro, rodent primate models toxins-induced parkinsonism blood, cerebrospinal fluid tissues sporadic PD patients. The current article updates roles NOSs rodents along with scrutiny how inhibitors open new line approach moderately rescue pathogenesis based on existing literature. also provides perspective concerning lack ample admiration such minimise underlying lacunae.
