摘要: A high-velocity coronal mass ejection (CME) associated with the 2002 April 21 X1.5 flare is studied using a unique set of observations from Transition Region and Coronal Explorer (TRACE), Ultraviolet Coronagraph Spectrometer (UVCS), Large Angle Spectroscopic (LASCO). The event first observed as rapid rise in GOES X-rays, followed by two simultaneous brightenings that appear to be connected an ascending looplike feature. While expanding, appearance feature remains remarkably constant it passes through TRACE 195 passband LASCO fields view, allowing its height-time behavior accurately determined. acceleration consistent exponential e-folding time ~138 s peaks at ~1500 m s-2 when leading edge ~1.7 R☉ Sun center. subsequently falls off over 1000 s. At distances beyond ~3.4 R☉, profile approximately linear velocity ~2500 km s-1. These results are briefly discussed light recent kinematic models CMEs.
