Organizational Improvisation: A Consolidating Review and Framework

摘要: Organizational improvisation is increasingly recognized as a relevant area of management research. However, the cumulativeness research on in organizations remains low. This paper organizes existing contributions organizational within new consolidating framework combining degrees (minor, bounded and structural) levels (individual, interpersonal organizational) improvisation. The proposed degree/level allows for reviewing literature disciplines strategy, behaviour, theory, innovation marketing systematic manner. It also exposes potential areas future across disciplines, areas, settings industries, beyond metaphors, most notably jazz improvisational theatre.
