摘要: We examined the therapeutic effect of Streptococcus iniae phages isolated from fish culture environments against experimental streptococcicosis Japanese flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. Phage sensitivity tests with a double agar method revealed that 31 35 S. strains have similar to six phage isolates. In therapy experiments, were injected intraperitoneally (IP) PSi402 and 1 h later IP-injected mixture two or four isolates, observed at 25°C for 2 wk. Mortalities receiving significantly lower than those control without phage-treatment in all trials. The treatment was also demonstrated even 24 post-infection, when cell numbers 107.4 104.5 CFU/g kidneys brains fish, respectively. However, as phage-resistant frequently dead phage-treated group, further investigations are required establish disease.
