Factors affecting the Regeneration of Root-Cuttings

摘要: ROOT-CUTTINGS can be used for the rapid vegetative propagation of many plants; but, despite certain advantages, method has not been widely employed in British horticultural practice, possibly because its apparent uncertainty. Batches cuttings which appear to quite suitable may sometimes give a high proportion successes and at other times fail completely. Recent work on regeneration root throw an interesting light this question.
