摘要: Abstract Instantaneous blood flow across the normal mitral valve was studied in calves. Heart rate and atrial timing varied, allowing an assessment of relative importance contraction to ventricular filling closure. Results were: (1) The pattern varied with heart P-R interval; (2) at rates six phases were identified, they defined dynamics atrium valve; (3) a properly timed can augment by 20 per cent; (4) contribution its rate; (5) closed without regurgitation during sinus or nodal rhythm; (6) premature contractions could produce regurgitation, but volume negligible; (7) major role is augmentation left not prevention regurgitation.
