摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter presents the information known about starch biosynthesis and degradation, regulatory phenomena associated with it in leaf storage tissue. It also at least three possible enzymatic routes from glucose-1-P to of α 1 - 4 glucosidic linkages plant systems: phosphorylase route, via UDP-glucose, or ADP-glucose. Furthermore, many cell extracts contain potent amylase activities that can interfere synthase assay. The products degradation comprise a major portion metabolites germinating seeds other reserve tissue is relatively straightforward determine these tissues. However, photosynthetic tissues, where accounts for only part sugar, sugar phosphate organic acid transformations occurring dark, more difficult assign appearance intermediates breakdown. Additionally, leaves may be regulated by concentration.
