摘要: Bemisia tabaci Genn. biotype B is a widely distributed plant pest that represents one of the major constraints for horticultural crop production. The purpose present work was to evaluate oviposition preference, survivorship, and development B. on semi-cultivated genotypes Capsicum annuum from southeast Mexico. In free-choice experiments lower number eggs laid by observed in Maax Xcat´ik relative commercial genotype Parado. Egg hatchability significantly Pico Paloma, Bolita, Blanco, Chawa, Payaso, than rest genotypes, including Jalapeno. Likewise, survivorship nymphs Blanco remaining genotypes. Nymph developmental time period egg adult were shortest Amaxito. Therefore, sources resistance antibiosis (accumulation defense compounds) might be found Blanco.
