摘要: Abstract Objective The purpose of this article is to summarize current hypotheses for the possible sources laparoscopic port-site metastasis, review results experimental models that support such hypotheses, and discuss potential options preventing these metastases. Methods We performed a Medline search identify in vitro vivo studies clinical trials analyzed metastases associated with surgery. report incidence causative factors condition. Results estimated all patients undergoing surgery malignant disease approximately 1–2%. Multiple are complication. Among most common proposed etiologies wound implantations caused by surgical technique instrumentation; leakage insufflation gas through ports, known as "chimney effect"; impact pneumoperitoneum on local immune reactions. Several preventive measures, have been suggested, including careful patient selection, lavage peritoneal cavity well port wounds cytotoxic agents, modifications technique. Conclusions Only well-conducted large multi-institutional prospective randomized will we learn not only true metastases, but also lead occurrence
