摘要: BACKGROUND/AIM Broad-spectrum antibiotics have become available for use only with the approval of infectious disease specialists (IDSs) since 2003 in Turkey. This study aimed to analyze tendencies doctors who are not (non-IDSs) towards restriction antibiotics. MATERIALS AND METHODS A questionnaire form was prepared, which included a total 22 questions about impact antibiotic (AR) policy, role IDSs restriction, and perception this change consumption. The completed by each participating physician. RESULTS 1906 from 20 cities Turkey participated study. Of those participated, 1271 (67.5%) had ≤5 years occupational experience (junior = JSs) 942 (49.4%) them were physicians. Specialists having >5 their branch expressed that they followed guidelines more strictly than JSs (P < 0.05) 755 physicians (88%) 720 surgeons (84.6%) thought AR policy necessary useful 0.05). CONCLUSION indicated supported most specialists. Physicians so did.
