摘要: In Europe, the management of semi-natural grasslands is changing steadily in extent and intensity. These changes represent a serious threat to one most species-rich habitats Europe; therefore, related shifts species composition should be assessed by means sound scientific. We describe new methodology aimed at: (i) quantifying temporal vascular plant grasslands; (ii) identifying environmental variables that drive patterns change. Our approach consists diachronic analysis based on historical phytosociological data associated with detailed vegetation maps. To test our methodology, 2013 we re-visited 24 plots Bromus erectus were first sampled 1982. designate sampling sites, combined topographic typological information available for spatial map. The degree change was calculated through ordination techniques; multivariate distances used regression identify responsible compositional worked example demonstrated has changed significantly last 30 years, have been substantially influenced topography landscape structure.
