摘要: A prospective study of vision-related outcomes cataract surgery as well cognitive functioning, activities daily living (ADL) and depressed affect was conducted with 19 nursing home residents scheduled for surgery. Also studied were 22 candidates who decided against it. Comparison both groups at baseline revealed that chose less cognitively ADL impaired. Analysis after showed visual acuity improved significantly 4 months maintained 1 year
