摘要: OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this commentary is to highlight several aspects two main perspectives on sacrocolpopexy: surgical—which includes selection a route for reconstructive surgery, types surgical meshes available, advantages and disadvantages each type mesh, the associated postoperative complication—and radiologic, that is, role imaging in improving outcome. CONCLUSION. As new modalities techniques related sacrocolpopexy are developed, concepts form function change. With advances modalities, especially MRI CT, postprocessing options radiologist's should extend beyond reporting findings sharing choice initial treatment plan.
