摘要: BACKGROUND: Brief interventions with problem drinkers have been shown to be effective, but physicians often do not ask about alcohol use. If a single question could effectively screen for drinking, it might facilitate intervention drinkers. METHODS: A cross-sectional study was undertaken address the clinical utility of question, "On any occasion during past 3 months, you had more than 5 drinks containing alcohol?"
