摘要: The area of Greece has experienced a complex tectonic history dominated by the subduction African plate beneath Eurasia. In this study variations crustal thickness in were obtained means multiple-source Werner deconvolution (MSWD) method applied to gravity data. Thicknesses 40-49 km are estimated Hellenides mountain belt west. Eastward thinning crust, thicknesses ranging from 25 north 30 south is seen Aegean region. These results good agreement with recent seismological results, demonstrating that MSWD successfully treated problem. Using model we derived, computed effect crust and extracted it Bouguer anomaly. We also subducting lithosphere anomaly, producing residual map where most original variation been removed. remaining anomalies appear related near-surface features an low-velocity mantle central Sea.
