摘要: Many studies have examined the relationships between students' performances on National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Part I and II examinations their postgraduate clinical performances. Most found a positive relationship NBME examination scores ratings residents' and/or specialty board certification examinations. Surveys residency directors also shown that are used as part process for selecting residents, although other data selection criteria considered more useful than scores. One area continued concern is large body United States Licensing Examination (USMLE) not yet available. However, predictive validity supports use USMLE review to screen potential residents.
