摘要: The visible and near ultraviolet spectra of MnF6= have been observed in solid solutions Cs2GeF6 K2GeF6 which the site symmetries hexafluoride ion are Oh D3d, respectively. At liquid helium temperatures these show sharp line absorption corresponding to electric magnetic dipole transitions. transitions vibronically allowed correspond excitation three ``u'' vibrations an octahedral, XY6 molecule. These combined with a1g completely symmetrical vibration and, we assumed, certain lattice vibrations. assignments given for 4A2g→2Eg 2T1g reasonably straightforward. For first spin transition, 4A2g→4T2g, it is necessary assume a reduction spin‐orbit coupling parameter by factor about 10 account observations. We not transition 2T2g state, higher lying quartet 4T1g appears as poorly resolved progression corre...
