Dependence of the angular anisotropy of the critical current density on texture in silver-sheathed Bi-2223 tapes

摘要: The dependence of the critical current density Jc on direction an applied magnetic field B with respect to normal a Bi-2223 silver sheathed tape was determined for several mono- and multifilament tapes at both high low temperatures. It is found that angular can be described by Jc⊥ (Bcos(φ)), where Jc⊥(B) plane, φ angle from normal. However, as approaches 90° (parallel plane), deviates this relation because residual grain misorientation. A model has been developed which fits data well shows correlation x-ray rocking curve estimates orientation distribution width.
