摘要: One of the novel applications nanostructures is modification and development membranes for hemocompatibility hemodialysis. The toxicity Ag nanoparticles arginine-treated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT-Arg) possibility their application in membrane technology are investigated here. MWNT-Arg prepared by amidation reactions, followed characterization FTIR spectroscopy, Raman thermogravimetric analysis. results showed a good hemolytic rates presence both nanoparticles. rate was lower than that MWNT-Arg. In vivo study revealed nanoparticle decreased Hematocrit mean number red blood cells (RBC) statistically at concentration 100 µg mL−1. decrease RBC (18% 5.8 × 1,000,000/µL) more (20% 6 1000000/µL). addition, had direct influence on White Blood Cell (WBC) drop. Regarding nanostructures, although WBC increased initial concentration, it significantly It worth mentioning higher Because potent antimicrobial activity relative hemocompatibility, could be considered as new candidate biomedical future especially hemodialysis membranes. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
