The impact of Vitamin D Replacement on Glucose Metabolism.

摘要: Objective: We investigated the impact of vitamin D supplementation on glucose metabolism in Vitamin D-deficient patients with prediabetes. Methods: A total 66 subjects mean ages 52.2±9.9 years were included this prospective and a 6-month follow-up study between 2008-2010. deficient ( < 25ng/ml) supplemented oral D. Results: deficiency was found 93.9% patients. Post replacement levels increased significantly insulin, HbA1c, HOMA-IR decreased following replacement. Conclusion: very common our population. In patients, treatment improved insulin resistance glycemic parameters. may be promising intervention for primary prevention syndromes.
