摘要: Seventeen porcelain-fused-to-metal alloys, which represented a cross section of the various alloy types available, were evaluated for castability, opaque masking, and porcelain bond strength. The base metal alloys generally cast more completely than noble with presence beryllium as an important factor greater castability among alloys. Statistically significant differences observed in ability to mask different substrates but no systematic effect type was observed. Porcelain testing revealed that nickel-chromium-beryllium produced significantly better porcelain-metal bonds nickel-chromium without beryllium. In addition, it found palladium-copper palladium-cobalt
