摘要: Abstract: Emulsion systems are the most common vehicles for topical drugs/cosmetic actives. Absence of skin irritation potential is an important legislative requirement. Overcoming emulsion irritancy usually achieved by selection emulsifiers. Alkyl Polyglucoside (APG) emulsifiers, successfully used in cosmetics and popularly labelled as skin- environmentally friendly, have attracted considerable interest. Non-invasive measurements biophysical parameters, approved vitro methods, reliable objective determination properties. This chapter discusses assessment performance emulsions, particularly those based on APG-mixed interpretation results. Research into safety efficacy APGs indicates that APG surfactants could be tailoring mild vehicles, showing benefits carriers actives with unfavourable profile.
