摘要: The effect of ethoxylation on self-aggregation behavior in aqueous media sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), C12H25 (OCH2CH2)xOSO3Na, where x = 1 (SLE1S), 2 (SLE2S), and (SLE3S) was investigated. CMCs were determined from the surfactant concentration (2,2′-bipyridine dichloro-ruthenium(II) hexahydrate (Ru(bipy)32+,2Cl−) fluorescence emission. Aggregation numbers micelle concentrations estimated fluorescent quenching by 9-methylanthracene. Interestingly, critical (0.80 mM), average aggregation (N 43), ([M] 40 μM) found to be independent degree ethoxylation.
