摘要: The effect of ethoxylation on self-aggregation behavior in aqueous media sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), C12H25 (OCH2CH2)xOSO3Na, where x = 1 (SLE1S), 2 (SLE2S), and (SLE3S) was investigated. CMCs were determined from the surfactant concentration (2,2′-bipyridine dichloro-ruthenium(II) hexahydrate (Ru(bipy)32+,2Cl−) fluorescence emission. Aggregation numbers micelle concentrations estimated fluorescent quenching by 9-methylanthracene. Interestingly, critical (0.80 mM), average aggregation (N 43), ([M] 40 μM) found to be independent degree ethoxylation. Water solubilization enhancement naphthalene pyrene SLES also solubility for observed with increasing degrees follow order SLE3S > SLE2S SLE1S. higher impact oxyethylene (OE) groups over taken as an indication a preferential distribution relatively polar organic molecule at outer layer close contact hydrated units, thereby allowing strong polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)—micelle interaction. On other hand, is preferentially distributed core micelle, far away OE units located micelle-water interface PAH-micelle interaction occur. both PAHs associated increase size well accessibility locus solute.
