摘要: Abstract This survey was conducted to reveal the gamma and neutron stopping performance of 30PbO–10ZnO—(60-x)TeO2—xB2O3 (x = 0, 10, 20, 30, 50% mole) glass quaternary. Gamma attenuation parameters including linear coefficient (μ), transmission fraction (TF), half value layer (HVL), mean free path (MFP), effective atomic number (Zeff), exposure buildup factor (EBF) fast removal cross-section (∑R) were determined computationally using Geant4 Phy-X/PSD database tools for photon energies ranging between 0.284 MeV 2.510 MeV. It found that increasing B2O3 content from 0% mole correspondingly decreasing TeO2 60% 10% results in a degradation μ by 18.2% Zeff 28.6% at 0.284 MeV. Due this decrease Zeff, values TF HVL increased 37.3% 22.4% respectively. In present study it also observed density (ρ) quaternary decreased with TeO2, has remarkable effect on characteristics. The Degradation μ, ρ increase proves ability glasses investigated worsens as Tellurium's mass are high compared those boron. While weakens performance, increases ∑R 0.108 0.116 specimens containing
