摘要: A beam formed of an assembly a pair vertically spaced apart wood chord members interconnected by number angularly arranged, channel shaped struts located along the vertical faces chords and on opposite sides chords. The base each strut is V-shaped in cross-section, with apex angle that increases from top to bottom so gradually flattens length upwards direction. legs increase depth length, thereby shift location channel's neutral axis away towards free edges at upper end strut. lower ends are extended form enlarged, flat, connector plate portions having struck-out teeth for embedding into adjacent face members. may be integral groups four arranged two V-shapes integrally joined together their portions. wider than while vertical, angled downwardly inwardly relative present approximate wedge-like shape cross-section beam.
